To conduct noise assessments of ACMV (air conditioning and mechanical ventilation) systems under NEA's guideline for TOP submission, each test point is tested for a 15 minutes equipment "ON" and another 15 minutes "OFF" state. Background Noise Correction Factor:
The adjusted value for the maximum noise level shall be obtained by adding the correction factor corresponding to the difference between the maximum permitted level and the background noise level, set out in the Table below, to the higher of the 2 noise levels.
